Polish government considers fuel VAT cut and windfall tax on oil companies

Finance Minister Andrzej Domański said the Polish government has not ruled out a temporary VAT cut on fuels if oil market conditions deteriorate again. He also announced a fresh attempt to impose a windfall tax on oil company profits. Final decisions are expected in the last weeks of summer.
