Iran and Oman agree on route through Strait of Hormuz in final-stage talks

Iran has announced that negotiations with Oman over a navigational route through the Strait of Hormuz are in their "final" stages. Tehran confirmed that the geographical coordinates of the route have been agreed upon with Oman. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical oil transit chokepoints.
