Indian activist after hunger strike: youth protests have weakened Modi

An Indian activist who went on hunger strike told the BBC that the so-called "cockroach" movement was one of the biggest public displays of dissent against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in years. The protests, driven largely by young people, have visibly weakened Modi's political standing. The activist said the demonstrations showed the strength of civil disobedience in India.
