NATO intercepts of Russian aircraft up over 250% in July compared to last year

NATO's Allied Air Command reported that the number of fighter jet scrambles to intercept Russian aircraft along the Alliance's eastern flank rose by more than 250% in July compared to the same month last year. The sharp increase signals a significant escalation in Russian aerial activity near NATO borders.
