Planting thujas along your property line can land you in court — here's the law

Thuja hedges are among the most common causes of neighbour disputes in Poland. Polish law specifies minimum distances for planting shrubs near property boundaries, and violations can result in a court order to remove the plants and substantial fines. In extreme cases, such disputes end up in court.
