WHO chief visits DR Congo as Ebola cases double in some hotspots within a week

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus visited the Democratic Republic of Congo amid an accelerating Ebola outbreak. He warned that new cases have doubled in some hotspots within just the past week alone. Tedros called for an urgent and massive scale-up of all response efforts against the disease.
