Slovakia hits all-time heat record of 41.4°C, Czech Republic reaches 41°C

Slovakia set an all-time temperature record of 41.4°C on Wednesday during a powerful heat wave. In the southern Moravia region of the Czech Republic, temperatures reached 41°C. The extreme heat has gripped much of Central Europe.
