Armed drone found at Leipzig airport near Ukrainian planes — evidence points to Russia
An armed drone was discovered inside the perimeter of Leipzig airport on Wednesday, close to Ukrainian cargo aircraft. Although it did not explode, its presence inside the airfield raises serious concerns about the security of international aviation. Initial evidence points to a Russian-orchestrated plot; it is the first time an explosive-laden drone has been found in Europe so far from the Ukrainian border.
