Poland's top court upholds PiS funding ban — party loses 6.4 million złoty

Poland's Supreme Administrative Court on Wednesday dismissed PiS's appeals against the withholding of state subsidies and grants. The case concerned 6.4 million złoty that the Finance Ministry refused to pay the party as reimbursement for campaign costs ahead of the parliamentary elections. Finance Minister Andrzej Domański called the ruling "crushing" and declared there would be no public money for fraudsters.
