Ex-MP once accused of paedophilia now runs a private school near Warsaw
Jan Bestry, whose parliamentary career ended 20 years ago after it emerged he had been dismissed from a school over accusations of molesting a 12-year-old pupil, now runs a private school in Izabelin near Warsaw. He presents himself as holding a habilitation doctorate in psychology and law, titles he has no right to use. The mother of one current pupil told reporters that her daughter suffered a nervous breakdown following contact with Bestry — though the case does not involve allegations of sexual abuse.
