Google reshuffles AI leadership: Hassabis becomes DeepMind chair and Alphabet chief scientist
Sundar Pichai announced significant AI leadership changes at Google on Wednesday. Demis Hassabis, the current head of Google DeepMind, will become chair of DeepMind and chief scientist of Alphabet. Hassabis will also continue leading Isomorphic Labs, Alphabet's subsidiary focused on AI-driven drug development.
