Sharif's PML-N leads Kashmir vote despite banned group's boycott call

Candidates backed by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League-N party have won 24 of the 34 seats decided in the first two phases of the Kashmir elections. The election commission confirmed the results on Wednesday. Voting proceeded despite a boycott call from a banned group.
