New glutathione-activated molecular glue found to degrade multiple target proteins

A study in Nature describes M12, a metabolically activated molecular glue degrader that recruits diverse proteins to the E3 ligase DCAF11, triggering their ubiquitin-mediated degradation. The mechanism depends on glutathionylation — a glutathione-dependent chemical modification.
