RNA-binding protein ZFP36L2 drives adaptive plasticity in gut regeneration and colorectal cancer
The RNA-binding protein ZFP36L2 mediates stress-adaptive plasticity in both intestinal regeneration and colorectal cancer metastasis, new research shows. The protein regulates how intestinal cells respond to stress, influencing both tissue repair and tumour spread. The findings identify ZFP36L2 as a potential therapeutic target in colorectal cancer.
