Shopify: AI-driven traffic tripled year-over-year and isn't replacing Google

Shopify reported that AI-driven traffic and orders to its merchants tripled year over year in Q2. Unlike media publishers, e-commerce platforms are not seeing AI cannibalize their search traffic. Shopify says AI and Google are acting as complementary rather than competing traffic sources for its stores.
