Phishing campaign impersonates Bank of America to hijack victims' devices

Security firm Huntress has uncovered a phishing campaign spoofing Bank of America, using different attack chains for Windows and macOS users. Windows victims were tricked into installing ScreenConnect remote management software, giving hackers full device access, while macOS users were directed to credential-harvesting forms. The emails mimicked Bank of America's branding but were sent from unrelated domains; users are advised to verify sender addresses carefully.
