Ebola epidemic in Congo: over 3,000 infections and 1,500 deaths, no slowdown in sight

The Ebola epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo shows no signs of slowing down, Médecins Sans Frontières has warned. More than 3,000 infections and 1,500 deaths have been confirmed so far. The WHO reports that transmission chains continue to evade surveillance efforts.
