GROM veteran: modern soldiers must master multiple specialisations to survive
Paweł Mateńczuk, a GROM special-forces veteran known as Naval, said on the WP programme "Żeby Wiedzieć" that the war in Ukraine has fundamentally changed what is required of soldiers. He argued that mastering a single specialisation is no longer enough — today's soldier must be "multi" and capable in many areas to survive on the modern battlefield. Ukraine has demonstrated that traditional military specialisations are becoming insufficient.
