Polish weather alerts: up to 40°C heat and storms in 11 regions

Poland's meteorological institute IMGW has issued heat warnings for nearly the entire country, with temperatures forecast to reach 40°C in the south-east. Storm alerts are in place across 11 voivodeships simultaneously. The Government Security Centre sent emergency SMS alerts to residents of 10 voivodeships warning of severe thunderstorms.
