Drought forces Slovenia's only nuclear plant to cut output by 20%
Slovenia's only nuclear power plant, located in Krško, has reduced its output to 80% capacity due to low water levels and high water temperatures in the Sava river, which cools the reactor. The reduction was announced on Wednesday. Drought-driven low river levels are increasingly threatening the operation of both nuclear and hydroelectric plants across Europe.
