UN rights chief alarmed as Iran executes 56 on security charges since March

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk has raised the alarm over a sharp rise in executions in Iran since March. A total of 56 people have been executed on national security-related charges, including 27 in cases linked to January's protests.
