Left-wing outsider Abdul El-Sayed wins Democratic Senate primary in Michigan

Abdul El-Sayed, the son of Egyptian immigrants and a left-wing political outsider, won the Democratic Senate primary in Michigan. If he wins in November's general election, he would become the first Muslim US senator in history.
