Lexar launches first RAM module built on Chinese DRAM chip

Lexar has released the first RAM module built on a Chinese DRAM chip, marking a potential turning point in the global memory market. The launch comes amid a prolonged memory crisis characterised by rising prices and growing shortages. Until now, the DRAM market has been dominated by South Korean giants Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron.
