Vistula in Annopol at record low — worst level in over 70 years
The water level of the Vistula river at Annopol in Lublin voivodeship dropped to 160 cm, breaking the previous record low of 162 cm set over 70 years ago, according to IMGW hydrologist Paweł Staniszewski speaking to PAP. The record low is the result of persistent heatwaves and drought. The situation points to serious hydrological conditions in the region.
