Kim Yo Jong warns Japan of military options over defence build-up

Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korea's leader, has threatened Japan with military options over its steady departure from post-World War II pacifism. Japan has been raising defence spending, deepening military alliances and deploying missile launchers to its outer islands. Pyongyang characterises these moves as Japan entering a "war state."
