US refunds $100bn of Trump's 'liberation day' tariffs after Supreme Court ruling

The Trump administration has refunded approximately $100 billion — about 60% of the $165 billion total collected — from "liberation day" tariffs after the US Supreme Court ruled the levies illegal. Customs officials reported the figure to the US Court of International Trade on Tuesday, according to the Financial Times.
