Russia strikes Kyiv overnight — 17 killed, Polish MP Kowal reports from the scene
Russia launched a missile and drone strike on the Kyiv region overnight on Wednesday, killing 17 people and wounding 44. Polish MP Paweł Kowal, who was in Kyiv at the time, described shaking walls and crowds of people sheltering together. Kowal condemned the attack, writing: "Eternal shame on the aggressor — Russia."
