German home decor chain Deport files for bankruptcy again — over 100 stores to close

German home furnishings retailer Deport has filed for bankruptcy for the second time in two years, triggering the closure of more than 100 stores and mass layoffs. The chain had previously gone through insolvency proceedings and failed to recover. The collapse is the latest blow to the European brick-and-mortar retail sector.
