IMGW: water below normal on nearly two-thirds of Polish river gauges — and worsening

A heatwave and lack of rainfall are rapidly worsening water shortages in Polish rivers. Data from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) shows that nearly two-thirds of river gauges are recording below-normal water levels. Forecasts offer no sign of quick improvement.
