Earthquake near Pisa: tremors shake Tuscany, epicentre 7 km from city
A significant earthquake struck Tuscany on Tuesday morning at around 10:15 local time. According to Italy's National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the epicentre was near San Piero a Grado, approximately 7 km west of Pisa, at a depth of about 8 km. The tremors alarmed both residents and tourists in the northern part of the region.
