Tusk skips Warsaw Uprising ceremony: "I avoid unworthy situations"

Prime Minister Donald Tusk explained his absence from the 82nd anniversary ceremonies of the Warsaw Uprising, saying he wants to commemorate the occasion with dignity and without causing controversy. He stated he avoids situations where his presence might provoke behaviour he described as "unworthy of his opponents." Tusk did not specify which incidents or individuals he had in mind.
