Drone with explosive device found on Leipzig airport tarmac

On Tuesday 4 August at 23:40, a drone with an attached explosive device and detonator was discovered on the tarmac of Leipzig airport, directly next to a Ukrainian Antonov aircraft. The discovery was reported by the German newspaper Bild. The incident has raised serious security concerns at European airports.
