Ice treats, mist and pools: how Warsaw Zoo keeps animals cool in the heat

Record heat in Poland is posing a challenge for zoo animals as temperatures far exceed 30°C. Warsaw Zoo staff are using ice treats, frozen herrings, cooling mist sprays and pools to help animals cope. Workers say they are repeating the procedures developed during the first heat wave in June.
