Russian overnight missile and drone strikes on Kyiv region kill 17

Russian missile and drone strikes on Kyiv and the surrounding region killed 17 people and wounded 44 others overnight into Wednesday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed. Russia launched more than 30 missiles targeting the Ukrainian capital and its surroundings. The attack caused fires across the city and forced residents to flee their homes.
