WHO chief flies to Congo as confirmed Ebola cases near 4,000

The WHO Director-General has arrived in the Democratic Republic of Congo to help tackle a rapidly escalating Ebola outbreak. Nearly 4,000 confirmed cases have been recorded since the outbreak was declared in mid-May. The WHO is working to coordinate an international response to the health crisis.
