Nawrocki's spokesman: government attacks president to hide rising unemployment
Presidential spokesman Rafał Leśkiewicz stated that unemployment in Poland has risen to over 6% from 5.3% a year ago, exceeding 10% in 111 counties. He claimed the ruling camp's attacks on President Karol Nawrocki are aimed at distracting from this economic failure. The remarks were made in the context of the debate over Nawrocki's pardon of Legia Warsaw fan Piotr "Staruch" Staruchowicz.
