16 young athletes hospitalised — food poisoning or heatstroke under investigation

Sixteen young athletes were hospitalised with symptoms including nausea and vomiting. Poland's sanitary inspectorate (Sanepid) has been notified and tests are underway to determine whether contaminated food was the cause. Officer Małgorzata Pawłowska told Gazeta.pl that heatstroke is also being considered as a possible explanation.
