Finland teaches children to spot deepfakes amid fears of Russian disinformation

Finland, on high alert over disinformation from Moscow, is rolling out media literacy programmes to help children identify AI-generated deepfakes. The country is already considered a leader in tackling fake news, but artificial intelligence poses a new and more complex challenge. School curricula are being updated to give young Finns critical-thinking tools for the AI era.
