Polish Finance Ministry: Only VAT cut on fuel is feasible this summer, rest of package unlikely
Deputy Finance Minister Jarosław Neneman said that only a reduced VAT rate on fuels could realistically be introduced during the parliamentary recess. Other elements of the "Lower Fuel Prices" package announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk would be very difficult to implement before the summer ends. Tusk had signalled the possibility of renewed fuel price regulation by the end of the summer holidays.
