WestJet resumes flights after flight attendant strike ends

WestJet, Canada's second-largest airline, reached a tentative agreement with its striking flight attendants' union and began resuming flights Monday. As of 11:30 a.m. EDT, 302 flights — 60% of its schedule — had been cancelled. CEO Alexis von Hoensbroech thanked passengers for their patience but gave no timeline for a full return to normal operations.
