Judge erases Jan. 6 seditious conspiracy convictions at Trump DOJ's request

A federal judge on Tuesday granted the Trump Justice Department's request to dismiss seditious conspiracy convictions against members of the right-wing Oath Keepers militia for their role in the January 6, 2021 Capitol attack. The judge sharply criticised the DOJ while granting the motion. The move is part of a broader reversal by the Trump administration of Jan. 6 prosecutions.
