Poland braces for 40°C heatwave that could break June temperature record

Poland's meteorological institute IMGW has warned of temperatures reaching up to 40°C in the south-east of the country and issued heat alerts for almost the entire nation. The institute says the record temperature set in June may be broken. The coming days are forecast to pose serious health risks.
