Heatwave grips Poland — up to 40°C in southeast, IMGW alerts almost entire country

Poland is in the grip of another extreme heatwave, with temperatures in the southeast expected to reach up to 40°C. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) has issued heat warnings for almost the entire country. Many regions should also brace for thunderstorms with hail and gusty winds.
