"1670" season 3 on Netflix features Ukrainian "Pole-Eater" character

The third season of the Polish Netflix comedy "1670", created by Jakub Rużyłło and directed by Maciej Buchwald and Kordian Kądziela, has been available since 5 August. Set among Sarmatian nobles and serf peasants, the show uses historical costumes to poke fun at Polish prejudices, flaws and stereotypes. A character dubbed the "Pole-Eater from Ukraine" plays a significant role in the new season.
