28 migrants missing after three rescue operations off Spanish coast

Spanish rescue services carried out three operations near Mallorca, Ibiza and Cabrera on Tuesday. Thirty-four migrants were pulled from the sea and two bodies recovered, while 28 people are still considered missing. The Algeria-to-Balearic Islands route is currently recording the steepest rise in crossings.
