Court sets March trial date in Paramount–WBD dispute; shareholders to count damages

A court rejected Paramount Skydance's bid for an earlier hearing and set a March trial date in the lawsuit over the takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery by David Ellison's company. WBD shareholders can now calculate compensation owed for the delay in the acquisition. Paramount had sought a different schedule but was overruled by the court.
