EU praises Spain as 70,000 of 72,000 Ceuta migrants returned to Morocco

Spain has returned approximately 70,000 of the 72,000 migrants who illegally entered the Spanish enclave of Ceuta last week, the government announced. The European Union commended Spain's "swift response" to the crisis. The mass crossing was one of the largest ever recorded at Ceuta's border with Morocco.
