Foreigners buy record number of flats in Poland, reaching 7% of the market

In 2025, foreigners purchased over 17,700 flats in Poland — more than four times the fewer-than-3,800 transactions recorded a decade earlier — now accounting for around 7% of the market. Experts stress that the growth is driven primarily by people planning to settle in Poland long-term, rather than investors. "More and more people are arriving with the intention of staying," says sociologist Dr Mikołaj Pawlak of the University of Warsaw.
