Polish social insurer ZUS sent 800 million złoty in pensions to Germany in one year

Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) sends nearly 30,000 pension and disability payments to Germany every month, totalling 800 million złoty over the course of a year, according to data published by ZUS. The transfers reflect years of Polish workers earning pension rights while employed in Germany.
