Chery hits 20 million cars sold, exporting one vehicle every 17 seconds

China's Chery has become the first Chinese automaker to sell 20 million vehicles, with the milestone car being the electric Fulwin A9 sedan. In the first half of 2026, the group exported nearly 944,000 vehicles abroad. That pace equates to one exported car every 17 seconds.
